I have added Connectix Desktop Utility 1.0.5a from MacsRUS's archive.
Here's a great shareware utility that will take the place of this one if anyone is having the same problems with it that I had:
http://www.macintoshgarden.org/apps/sleeper
I'm (was) using it on a native Power PC 7100
The funny thing is, the app decreased my screen to 20% output (sleep setting) just the way I wanted. In fact, I think it was right after that init that the windows/menu went haywire.
Anyway, the Energy Star feature was the ONLY reason why I downloaded this, so if anyone has another app that will do the same with a monitor please upload it.
WOw!
In the documentation there s an article, if i do remember remember well, that specify about some problems with the 7.6.1.
I do have the same problem under 8.1.
I will correct the specifications to mac os 7.x.x. only.
Are you using this on a clamshell or g3 wallstreet?
I just installed this. Does anyone know why this is happening to the menu bar and the windows? I'm using it with a PPC, 7.6.1.
I don't think it's a conflict. To troubleshoot, I turned off all the extensions except for this one and after restarting this oddity still occurs. It looks like this app just doesn't want to play nice with 7.6.1, unless there's a conflict with "Appearance", which I'm using (but I decline the option to install the "folder color", and this is what I would think would cause a conflict with Appearance, if any).
I dont remember but maybe is the 8.6 before I create the .img archive or maybe the CD MacOS 7.5.3 for performa 6320CD. The CDU was part of the original software extras included in that cd. I also extract the mangia, and quickdraw gx from this cd.
Hello MadMac. On the screenshot, I've see the CD volume on the desktop says Apple Macintosh CD. What is it?
