Emulation
This app works with: SheepShaver,

The documentation is too large to upload; it would fit in 400MB but manuals aren't being stored on S3 yet. The docs disc has a lot of other important tools.

This is the version used to build Classilla(reference), the updated web browser for Mac OS 8.6 to 9.2.2.

Pascal Compilers: http://www.mediafire.com/?md23fbnkzewssda
The Pascal compilers may work with previous or later versions (they may very well be rebundled copies from previous versions). They're hidden very neatly on the current developer's site and I can't remember exactly where I got them to give a link there.

68k Compilers: Pro 7 was the first release to drop support for targeting 68k, but according to a newsgroup post from MW Ron, the 68k tools from CW Pro 6 can be copied and used.

Has anyone else tried using the Pascal Compilers from the link above in earlier versions of CodeWarrior?

I tried installing it in CodeWarrior Pro 5, but I can't create a pascal project. I turned on plugin diagnostics, and I get the following error message when I open CodeWarrior Pro 5's IDE v 4.0.4:

***** Beginning loading of file MW Pascal PPC
Note: The main CFM code fragment for file MW Pascal PPC is named after the file. For version 9 plugins it is recommended that it be named 'CWPlugin_MainFragment'.
Error: An error occurred while retrieving the main code fragment of file MW Pascal PPC from disk.
Error: The error is associated with the fragment/library named '>>CarbonLib<<'
Error: Loading of dropin file MW Pascal PPC failed: Error -2821
Error: The dropin failed to load.

Error: Loading of dropin file Pascal Compiler failed: Error -2821

***** Beginning loading of file Pascal Warnings

It would sure be nice to get Pascal support back in CodeWarrior Pro 5. I really don't want to use CodeWarrior Pro 7.

**** Followup:
I tried reverting my version of CarbonLib back to the stock v1.0.1 (I updated to v1.6.1), and the plugins load just fine with the older v1.0.1. Unfortunately, the trying to open the File Mappings pref panel crashes SheepShaver. Besides, version 1.0.1 of CarbonLib is too old for DragThing 4.6.1 that I'm running.

I may try versions of CarbonLib between v1.0.1 and 1.6.1 to see if one of them will work. I think I'll start with v1.3.1 which the installer for CodeWarrior Pro 7 has a hard dependency on, so it might be a good place to start.

**** Update:
I found a better solution: Just copy the Pascal support from CW Pro 4 into CW Pro 5. I used the pascal patch from this page as a general suggestion for where to copy the files to in CW Pro 5.

Uploaded the 7.2 update for PPC and x86, which contain the C/C++/Rez 2.4.7 compilers and linkers.

Also, the 7.0 installer has a hard dependency on CarbonLib 1.3.1, and without it the installer will crash SheepShaver. Mac OS 9.0.4 comes with CarbonLib 1.0.1, which is not good enough. Copy CW Tools 7.1:System Folder Items:For Classic Mac OS Development:INTO System Folder:INTO Extensions:CarbonLib -> your System Folder:Extensions and reboot, and the installer will complete.

There has been a 7.2 update but I can't find it.

I had no problems downloading CodeWarrior 10,

Only problem is that I don't know a line of code, except this:

#include

// main: generate some simple output

void main ()
{
cout << "Hello, world." << endl;
}

-
but I'll learn someday.
