@-time
@-time (pronounced At-time) is a simple application that displays the local time in several world cities in a dock menu or in a floating window. In a classic Mac OS 9.2.2 and earlier it only runs as a floating window.
- DL #1: @-time v1.1 (2002) as classic Mac OS app and early PPC Carbon Mac OS X app in a StuffIt ".sit" archive.
- DL #2: @-time v3.3.1 (2005) as PPC Mac OS X Cocoa app in ".dmg" archive.
- DL #3: @-time v3.4 (2006) as PPC/Intel UB Mac OS X Cocoa app in ".dmg" archive (final release).
- Customizing @-time:
- To change or add cities in @-time Dock menu, select “Cities…” in the @-time Dock menu. Then,
- To delete a city, select it in the list, then click the delete button.
- To add a new city, click the “New” button, select a city in the name list, or enter the name and the country of the city in the name and country fields, select the category and time zone for that city.
- To change the way @-time displays time in its Dock Icon, select Preferences from the @-time application menu.
Throughout -@-time's development it was always released as freeware with this "donate to a good cause if you like it" notice:
@-time is distributed as freeware. You can use it for free as long as you wish. But if you insist on paying something, please send $20 to the American Red Cross (http://www.redcross.org/).
Compatibility
Architecture: PPC PPC (Carbonized) x86 (Intel:Mac)
- @-time v1.1 (2002) contains a classic and Mac OS X version of the app. The classic version is PPC encoded for Mac OS 8.1 and later. The OS X version is a Carbon app that runs in Mac OS X 10.0 to 10.2.x
The classic version will run in a SheepShaver emulator.
- @-time v3.3.1 (2005) is a Cocoa app that runs on a PPC Mac OS X 10.2.8 and later.
- @-time v3.4 (2006) is a (UB) Cocoa app that runs on a PPC Mac OS X 10.3.9 and later or an Intel Mac OS X 10.4.6 and later.
Tested as working OK on Mac OS 9.0.4 to Mac OS X 10.7
