The ClarisWorks 5 (OpenDoc) project was codenamed "Mars". This is a pre-release version that was never finalized. OK, ClarisWorks 5 came to be, but the OpenDoc part and OpenDoc itself was killed stone-dead back in 1997.
This archive does not have an installer as it was never released with one. I'm archiving this at the MG for the curious and for educational/historical purposes only. I give this DL, 2 stars, for the same reason.
That is, don't download this if you want a reliable functional office suite. This is alpha software of the first order and it will likely crash your Mac/Clone/Emu.
If you do DL and run this, expect to see the ClarisWorks debugger to appear on random occasions.
Tip: Avoid any of the ClarisWorks Assistants if possible
I have also added the OpenDoc install software with this DL for those who are curious. However I think that OD was dead by the time Mac OS 8.5 arrived, so if you are running a system later than 8.1 - I shouldn't bother.
Besides, this experimental version of ClarisWorks is a lot more stable without it, to the point of being almost usable.
This archive if you download, should have the MD5 checksum & filename:
795dc3fcca28b3ae8530b900079dfd87 *CWks-OD.sit
Archived with Stuffit Lite 3.6 - any Stuffit later than 3.5 should open and extract it.
Screenshots taken from my Basilisk II Mac (and SheepShaver), running 7.6.1 - Enjoy

CompatibilityRequires a 68020 or later CPU, it includes both 68k and PPC native executables.
The first time you launch this you will be asked to personalize ClarisWorks. This is optional & there is no need to. Enter a name if you wish to but the serialization field can be left as is, ignore.
Note: Only the 68k version for ClarisWorks 5 (OpenDoc) will ask for registration first time it runs. The PPC version is set to go, as is.
