This app works with: SheepShaver, Basilisk II, Mini vMac

Full installation files for ClarisWorks 1.0v2 (UK English) in Disk Copy 4.2 image file format. The .sit download includes the updater to version 1.0v4

Compressed in StuffIt 3.6 format for greater compatibility with Mini vMac and earlier Mac computers. Tested clean for viruses with Disinfectant 3.7.1.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k

The Macintosh version runs on Mac Plus or greater. Not PPC code. 68k only AFAIK - tho' will run on PPC Macintosh and also runs on SheepShaver.

Documents created by ClarisWorks 1.0v1 on Windows and ClarisWorks version 1.0v4 on the Macintosh are interchangeable. Consequently, you can create a ClarisWorks document on Windows and edit it on a Macintosh computer and vice versa.

The 1st commercial software I ever purchased was "ClarisWorks 1, for Windows" (I didn't have a Mac then) It was for Windows 3.1, but later ran fine on 95 & 98 as well.

I still have the original floppy disk set for the PC version too.

One reason for the 1.0v4 update was to provide good compatibility if exchanging files with their PC sibling.

Runs nicely under MacOS 8.5 on my Performa. Great app set for it's time.
