Handy little zip here has 4 versions of CHUD Remover that runs on all versions of OSX for PowerPC as well as x86 Tiger and Leopard. CHUD is an Apple (Developer) tool kit that when installed causes a little background load on the computer system so, it CHUD can quickly be removed/reinstalled when you're not using CHUD.

The four CHUD Remover versions are separated by half, v1 and v2 run in Jaguar and Panther, whereas v4.5 and v4.6 run in Tiger and Leopard. This particular v1 is from CHUD 3.0.1 not CHUD 3.0.0 which had bugs in its Remover. It ought to be trusted that v1 and v4.5 won't be needed, that v2 can cleanup in Panther and everything made before it, and that v4.6 can cleanup everything CHUD-related in all Leopard and Tiger configurations.

CHUD is a creepy sounding word meant to be confused with 'crud' and 'chum' what with CHUD's Shark motif, deserving of a Remover modeled on a bottle of Industrial Strength cleaner (the icon).

When these relevant versions of CHUD have been installed, the Terminal recognizes the cmd "hwprefs". You guessed it, conversely when CHUD is absent or removed, hwprefs in Terminal is an unrecognized command.

Architecture: PPC x86 (Intel:Mac)

OS X early and 10.2 thru 10.5 (Jaguar, Panther, Tiger, Leopard).
