The CD MATCH software, which works on individual PCs, will automatically run a scan on a user's machine and will provide a printout of the system's actual capabilities including information such as CD-ROM drive speed, memory, CPU type, and speed and graphics capability.

Users can then compare the printout to standard CD MATCH Uniform Labeling being adopted by the major participants in the software industry.

Found on a Multimedia CD-ROM title.

There is also a description of this software at books.google.com

Can't say yet whether this software runs on System 6 as well.
