Cal is a simple calendar Desk Accessory for the early Macintosh. It was originally released in 1986. Information on how to use Cal can be found by clicking the "About" button, followed by the "Help" button.
The calendar can be navigated by day or by month, and can also be incremented/decremented by 1 or 10 years. Clicking the header returns you to the current day. A ratio is given on the bottom of the calendar indicating the number days that have elapsed since January 1st, followed by the number of days remaining in the currently selected year.
Also provided is a text field for entering information on the currently selected day. If any text is entered, the day's number is outlined on the calendar above.

CompatibilityCal will run in System 6 or 7. For System 6, use Font/DA Mover to transfer the DA to the system from its suitcase. On System 7, simply doubleclick the DA itself as you would an application.

I retrieved this from the page for PopChar, whose page has a few different apps associated with it besides PopChar. The Cal DA wasn't in a suitcase, so I had to do that first (I created a dummy DA suitcase in System 6, then went to system 7, where I could actually manipulate it). I also included Font/DA Mover 4.1 on the disk image, which I pulled from the Suitcase II installation disk.
