Comments
I did add the files.
BTV Pro 6 does still run with Sierra, displays input of my T420´s built in camera, but does not save a usable .mov file. I don´t own anything older having a camera to try with.
10.8 or lower may be worth a shot as Apple changed core services a lot since.
Yes, add it. It seems like support has totally gone from this.
If the Top DL is for 5.4.1 then it is PPC & likely Carbon & compatible with PPC 10.4.x (& classic?) see this old DL page. Both BTV & BTV Pro 5.4.1 can be DL'd here too (as well as 6.0b7)
Got to ask tho'; Why are the classic 8.1 - 9.x tags enabled here? is 5.4.1 classic compatible too?
Seems to be the BTV Pro 5.4.1 Installer.
If no, I´ll add the carbonised one.
Guess I´ll try whether its the carbonised one myself.
Shall I add the Universal 6.0b7 from 2012 as well?
The
Purchase link above, is working for me. But on the page it links to, it says:So
the purchase link should be removed, or downgraded to an author's website link in the description area.Edit: — done. Anyone know offhand what version the top DL "btvpro.zip (826.28 KB)" is?
Is this the carbonised version already?
I found a 5.4.1 via Waybackmachine which is working with Rosetta.
The bensoftware site is down seemingly, same for KAGI, as we know.
Maybe we may add the later BTV flavours if that was OK with the author.
BTV Pro is shareware and still to be sold, I've added a link to purchase it. It's probably the best video capturing software for OS 9 and well worth the price.
