Design beautiful 3D Landscapes with Bryce
It works great on 68k.
Metatools' Bryce 2 generates stunning, fractal-based 3-D terrain objects that you can embellish with natural-looking textures and visual effects. Ray tracing enhances the photo-realism of these images, which are suitable for professional-level illustration, video, or multimedia production.
Beyond generating terrain objects, Bryce 2 gives you tools for building infinite planes representing the ground, water surfaces, and cloud layers; an array of object primitives for building simple structures; and an assortment of lighting options.

This CD-ROM ISO image was a free giveaway with the magazine "Computer Arts" Issue 23, October 1998. Disc issue 23b. It contained the full install set of Bryce 2 for both Mac and Windows OS's. Comments
I can't believe how easy to use this software is! I've been wanting to dabble in 3D rendering on OS 9 and Bryce 2 is great. I suggest also downloading the model pack for more interesting things to add.
Of course it does, it depends on te ROM you used in the emulator. ie. a Quadra ROM would offer a 68040 instruction set, over a Mac Plus ROM offering a 68000 instruction set.
Rendering under emulation takes forever.
I wish I could find good US books here in Mexico,
I regret leaving behind this book in the States (amongs a lot of things, including my Apple Performa):
"Apple: The Inside Story of Intrigue, Egomania, and Business Blunders"
really good book...
Get the Bryce 2.0 book by Susan A. Kitchens, especially if you find it with the CD-ROM. There's a movie called "Planetary Traveller" that was made using Bryce 2 and Bryce 3 while that version was being developed.
Checked it out but haven't really got the time yet to investigate any of it. Wish I had more time for this stuff!
So, did you check the Web page?
http://translate.google.com/#
It's less than perfect but sometimes it can give you some clue as to what you're looking at, especially when you don't understand the script or alphabet itself.

I haven't able to either find or buy an older Mac hardware
so I just clicked on the only words I understood which led me to a bunch of Mac Public files available for download.
