Boycott Advance

What is it?

Boycott Advance is a Gameboy Advance emulator for Macintosh.

Speed

Boycott Advance is not a fast emulator. You will not get consistent full frame rate on this emulator if you do not have a G4 running at at least 600MHz. Boycott Advance is not designed to be a substitute for the real system - if you want to play GBA games, buy a GBA.

Using the Real BIOS

Boycott Advance can use a real Gameboy Advance BIOS image, although it is not required. This must be named gbasys.bin and be placed in the Boycott Advance folder. DO NOT ASK ME TO SEND YOU THIS FILE. Note that some games work better with the real BIOS, and some work better without. Your mileage may vary

Boycott/MacOS - Gameboy/Gameboy Colour emulator.
v0.6.7 - November 19th, 2001 - Supports the Blitter Library plugin.
Boycott can emulate both the Classic Gameboy and the later colour models.
While compatibility is far from perfect with some of the newer colour titles, the
titles that do work run very well. Boycott supports extremely precise sound
emulation, allowing speech samples to work properly.

Boycott Advance requires a PowerPC based Macintosh with MacOS 8.6 or later, and CarbonLib 1.2 or later.
