Comments
Thanks Gary & IIGS_User for checking. This version 3.0 CD is clearly an earlier CD pressing than the 3.0c version mentioned below and there are no issues with this one.
I've also since DL'd to check and found no problems with the .iso.
I've now expanded the archive and mounted the disk image. I used Virex (latest definitions) and got a clean report (no viruses or trojans) from the disk scan.
Gary
I've downloaded the ISO file but haven't expanded it yet.

Not before. Now downloaded again and checked with both Norton Antivirus 12.7 on an Intel based Mac and Norton Antivirus 7 within Sheep. None found.
@IIGS_User & Gary: Did either of you virus check this image, before installing?
I haven't DL'd this myself to test. I stumbled upon this page on infected Mac installer programs (CD's etc) that contain a confirmed Autostart virus, which I believe requires the QuickTime autostart feature activated (QT 2.5 and newer). - Pretty harmless, I guess, unless you have the autostart feature enabled in QuickTime.
If you scroll down page to "Arboretum CD", it comments:
There isn't a visible "3.0c" on the CD label above only a "3.0", but it is blue. So if you still have this archived, can you please check it some time with an anti-vir that can detect autostart virii.
On OS X, I had success to unzip it.
Already created an iso.sit file of this entry (just renamed .toast to .iso, as such)
Probably, this could be an offer for a second d/l link of this file.
Edit: The second file (342.8 MB) is a .sit version of the same file. - IIGS User
I downloaded this ZIP archive. But when I tried to unZIP it, I got an error stating that it had been compressed using an unknown compression method.
