Compatibility
Architecture: 68k PPC

If extracting this .zip file under a classic Mac OS, for best results use MacZip. All other OS's, use a zip utility of your choosing.

To get it work in Basilisk II, install System Update 3.0 (make sure it's 68020) to activate sound.

I can't open the image either.

ndtronerud: I'm not finding an error here. As a quick test I DL'd the zip file from the US mirror above, about 5 mins ago.

The zip file extracted to a ".toast" image for me. I locked, then added the .toast to SheepShaver's GUI as an additional drive then launched SheepShaver (Mac OS 8.1). The Toast image mounted on it's desktop fine. All looks normal here. date and time stamps of the mounted image are unchanged since 1994, the content of the image looks OK to me so far.

[Edit]
I've since observed the Toast image is not mountable in Mini vMac.

I've re-ripped the image to ".ISO" and it is now compatible with booting both Mini vMac and Basilisk II directly (and working as intended, as a system recovery/restore CD).

As a couple of people have experienced problems with the current DL, I will replace it with my copy shortly.

— Done.

I can't open the image either. Finder reports that the image can't be recognized, and attempting to mount it from Toast 8 Titanium does nothing.

@boovish; Care to elaborate a little on "I can't get the darn disk image open"?

All you should need is the standard 7.1 diskettes plus the specific enabler for the LCIII.
