Apple Remote Desktop 1

Apple Remote Desktop is the screen sharing and administration tool from Apple. Versions 1 and 1.2 included a client only part working on Mac OS 8.1 to 9.2.2. The Mac OS X part can be used both as client or administrator.
From the manual :
"Apple Remote Desktop gives you the ability to remotely control and manage Macintosh desktops. It’s your complete solution for remote desktop access, remote assistance, system management, and software distribution.
You can use Apple Remote Desktop to
- manage client computers and maintain, upgrade, and distribute software
- provide help and remote assistance for users when they encounter problems
- interact with users by sending text messages, observing and controlling users’ screens, and sharing their screens with other client users
- use documents and applications when you’re away from the office".

• Download #1 is V.1 installers in English.
• Download #2 is V1.2 installer disk image in English, French, German, and Japanese.
