If you are running Mac System Software 7.0 or newer; once extracted from the .sit file:
Drag the Analyst icon over onto the closed icon of the "System Folder", when the System Folder darkens, let the mouse button go. You should then get a message that these kinds of files need to be stored in some location. Click OK to complete the install.
If you run System 6.0.8 or earlier as the Mac OS, you will need to run a helper program named "Font/DA Mover" to install this DA application. The Font/DA Mover application is included with SSW 6.0.8 and earlier, system install disks.
When installed, Analyst is always available from the Apple menu (top left corner of the screen).
Comments
Yes, it runs OK in Mini vMac.
It's a DA (Disk Accessory) type application.
