Adobe Photoshop Elements is a raster graphics editor for entry-level photographers, image editors and hobbyists. It contains most of the features of the professional version but with fewer and simpler options. The program allows users to create, edit, organize and share images.

For example, Photoshop Elements cannot export files in the CMYK color mode, supports a simplified color management system, and excludes detailed soft-proofing. It also includes a limited set of Photoshop plugins, and instead has a number of features aimed at non-experts (such as removing the red-eye effect or changing the skin tone in a picture).

I have uploaded the French language edition of PSE 4.0 taken from a link listed on the original Adobe CS2 "free" download page of 2013. I did not test it though since I already have PSE 8.0 on my Mac.

Thanks again, 24bit. Yes the QEMU development is good news for us.
I did notice during the PSE install, when it went into the individual component install part with the flashing Q's in the Dock, it mentioned it was installing the "German component" at one stage. I guess this was the localization libraries it was installing.

Its a pity that it doesn't give any options prior to installing, instead of the "Easy Install" option, only.

Yes Mike, its a plain Panther installation done with Panther ISOs 1+2.
The PSE menu is indeed German only. Sad
I will have to upgrade to 10.3.9 still and have to figure out shared volumes and network.
Really amazing proceedings in my opinion. Lets hope for some acceleration and a nice GUI to set up the beast.

Added a screenshot with PSE-4 in Qemu.

Nice screenshot and to see it working in a virtual environment. Was it the English version of Panther? I see the menus are in German. No issues starting it up (other than slowness), like I found with PearPC?

[Edit] - I see "About This Mac" in screenshot is in English (English Panther?).

Added a screenshot with PSE-4 in Qemu.
The installation was no problem, very slow of course due to QEMU´s G3 emulation on a OS X Intel host.
Guest OS was a default 10.3 installation from Panther ISOs.

Regarding other languages, I did not try to get them up. I was more concerned with verifying that it installed OK following the problem reported in the other forum on PSE 6, and I have now removed the application from my Mac.

Thanks to both of you. Smile
Did you eventually manage to get another menu language than German with this PSE-4?
I did already change the page accordingly, but its maybe only a problem on my side?

I think you've hit the correct button, but the site still ticked another.

Sorry for hitting the wrong button, mrdav.
The app is OS X only, German localization. Sad

Is it really carbonised if it is only for Mac OS X?
