Font collection provided (not necessarily all made) by Adobe.
According to Wikipedia this version was released in 1997 but there are several folders with the year 1998 on them. Some of the fonts in this collection are also available in version 9, but not all of them, keep both versions for a more complete collection.
Image contains fonts only, someone stripped the rest of the CD contents. We're talking 1998, when it was a pain to upload full CD's!!!
The collection contains high quality Type 1 PostScript fonts. You will need Adobe Type Manager software installed to be able to render this font type smoothly (without the "Jaggies") onscreen and when printing to non-PostScript printers.
Missing, are any Adobe Font Metrics (.AFM) files (that may have been included on the original CD?).
CompatibilityIf your classic Mac can run Adobe Type Manager, you can use these fonts. OS X handles Type 1 fonts directly.

I had a dickens of a time mounting the .iso in a modern OSX system - so I have added a zip file which only contains the fonts (4th DL)
90% sure i have a copy of this disc from way back... do i need to test it on an os9 box or something? whats the issue you guys are having exactly?
It seems that with the release of Font Folio 10 they went fullly OpenType, and that was almost 10 years ago. I wonder if there is really a problem with an "unsupported" Type1 format. Font Folio 9 is another story, it has both the collection in postscript and opentype, but it's also over 10 years old.
Checking eBay a few days ago for Font Folio delivered interesting results. People seem to be selling it at outrageous prices, but version 9 sold recently for mere $66.00 USD. That personally feels more like it.
I've been looking for this collection for some time now. Even now, I've seen Font Folio 8.0 sell for a couple thousand bucks. Version 11 is about $5,500. Fortunately, I was looking for the PostScript fonts, not OpenType. Very cool, and perhaps, one the most illegal posts of the entire Macintosh Garden. Let's see how long it lasts.
Yes, and if you have the "Virtual CD/DVD Utility" installed, running on a classic Mac OS, 7 - 9, its also double-clickable and mounts instantly (once extracted from the .sit)
Thanks for uploading the .iso image with the fonts only. Mounts in Mac OS X 10.4.11 Tiger.
Oh yes i have tried to mount shrinkwrap images under classic in the past and it just doesn't work. You must be running OS 9.x or earlier natively. I didn't want to modify/convert the original file to avoid date or content modifications.
Thanks for the feedback. Mounting with ShrinkWrap 3.5.1 doesn't still work (I tried ShrinkWrap 3.5.1 from MacGarden on Classic environment under Mac OS X 10.4) !
Perhaps the image mounts under a native Mac OS 9 only ? Can you check again, please and maybe upload also a image which can be mounted under Mac OS X, too (.toast or .iso)?
@MTT
Ah yes. I just double clicked on the img and it mounted...of course as I have ShrinkWrap 3.5 on my Mac. Trying to mount with DiskCopy fails.
Its an Aladdin ShrinkWrap 3.5.x image file... propitiatory, which I think requires the same SW 3.5 or newer to mount the image (running on a classic Mac OS).
@Kitchen2010
I unpacked this file on my G3 running OS 9.2.2 and everything is just fine. The .img is good.
I downloaded this via Safari, archive can be decompressed with StuffIt Expander but .img file seems to be corrupted (cannot be mounted with the DiskImageMounter utility, error: no recognisable filesystem !)
Can someone check this file again, please ?
